Qualcomm Stadium
Home of the San Diego State Aztecs.  Playing
in a NFL stadium is not always an ideal
situation, especially when it is the 3rd oldest
NFL stadium and is not located on campus.  A
new train has been built that connects that
stadium and the campus, which now makes it
a lot easier for students to attend the games.
Since San Diego is vacation destination,
many of the opposing teams' fans travel to
Qualcomm for the road game vs the Aztecs.
In 2006 UTEP made the Q feel like El Paso,
and in 2005 UCLA brought the Rose Bowl
atmosphere to San Diego.
The photos above are from the San Diego State home opener against UTEP.  It was the first game as head coach for Chuck Long.
